Hi Larry,
I've been teaching film scoring at Lehman College, CUNY, in the Bronx for ten years. They have some pretty strong jazz/fusion/Latin guitar players who've had little exposure to any other fretted, acoustic instruments, i.e.,banjo, mandolin, dobro, dulcimer, etc. I'm always pounding them on making a living post-college and the more things you play the better, says I. Could you do a 90 minute Zoom workshop with the Lehman Students demonstrating all the possibilities? If this seems like something you'd be interested in, please shoot me an email.

Best,

Michael

Please, please, please go to SoundCloud,Nickel Cigar and listen to “Part of Home”. I wrote it in 2015. “Carry Me” on Rise bears a striking resemblance to it. Maybe you like my style, I have a lot of copyrighted music and can’t seem to go any further without real help. Thanks.

I was tagging some old photos of mine and found your site. We attended the show you did with Buddy and Julie at the Roxy Feb 25, 2002. In fact I took the photos on your site with my brand new digital camera. They were pretty rare back then. All 'round great show that night.

I've had the pleasure of seeing you perform with Jorma, and Hot Tuna. Hopefully, when we can start enjoying live music again, I'd like to see you and Theresa together. The Friday night of Jorma's 70th show, you traded licks back and forth with Warren Haynes is still one of the best musical moments of my life. Thanks

I got introduced to you from watching the DVD "Love for Leon". You really stood out to me on "This Wheels on Fire" and you backing up of artists with your talent. Your musicianship is exquisite. I will be looking out for you on more programs. I may have seen you but did not realize it, if you were with Dylan when he played in Mobile 1997.

I’m so glad that you’re feeling better! I’ve been enjoying the Shelter in Place Orchestra, and hope there’s a cd in the works. Can’t wait to see you live again.

Dear Larry,

Greeting from the great white north (white being snow, ala the Mackenzie brothers, not Caucasian),

We hope you, Theresa and loved ones are as well as can be. We were following closely, and could not not be happier that you are making music again.

Thanks again for your graciousness and beautiful humour on the boat, and always.

May you be well, and live happy and healthy until 120.

Warmly,

Ryan and Isaac (father son duo from Toronto)
