Larry
I enjoyed very much your concert with Teresa and your band last night at Shank Hall. I had seen you many times with Dylan, and it was great to see you able to spread your instrumental and vocal wings on stage with this group. Teresa's vocals were also exceptional.
Just a thought: Next time you are in a recording studio please lay down last night's version of Deep Ellum (elem) Blues. It's a great song, and I went to Itunes today and none of the versions there are as good as yours. A song that good with such an interesting history deserves the full treatment--like you gave it last night.
Thanks again, especially for everyone on stage ignoring how few people were in the room and still playing and singing their hearts out.

Larry, you may remember me from several Rambles. I was the one with the slack jaw and bugged-out eyes. Oh, wait a minute, that was all of us!

Always loved your music, with Levon, Bob, or whoever, so buying your new album wasn't much of a stretch. I expected an excellent effort from you and Teresa, but this is...stunning! One of the best new recordings I've heard in years. Thank you!!

Larry Campbell is a million-dollar guitar thoroughbred. If you want to breed a lineage of great guitar players, put old Larry out to stud.

Unlike Khartoum, I trust he won't cross the mob, and he'll keep his head intact.

I concur with Jim's comments below. What a band! The three Masters with Byron, Randy and Brian. Just incredible. Jim was playing that Fender like a man possessed. Please continue touring with that lineup. I would go to see the shows daily!
Thanks.

Larry, I am desperate to find out which, if any, rolls you are using on the banjo in "High Water (For Charlie Patton)". It sounds like you're in standard G and I have tried many rolls but can't quite make it. Any tips? I know you're on the road right now, but whenever you can, maybe email me. I play with Bill Bottrell here in Mendocino at a little gig called BobFest in August and me and him would love to play that tune together.

Great show at the NYC Winery last night. You guys were having alot of fun up there and it looked and sounded fantastic. Congratulations on the new album release and also your production and playing on The Pine Hill Project album. I listen to it often at the beach with good headphones and it sounds so sweet.
I see that you will be traveling the country for the next few months so have a great road trip and I will be sure to catch a show or two when you circle back here to the east.
Best regards, Dave.

Hello, Mr. Campbell!
I am a devoted fan and love trying to learn from you. I have your instructional dvd on the Reverend Gary Davis and have enjoyed learning from that. I am wondering if you have more things of this nature available. I would love to learn your version of "Deep Ellum Blues". Thank you for all the great music. You are one of the best!

Larry have followed you for a while mostly while you were Levon's band master.
Recently caught you locally at Seaglass where you did the show with David Bromberg. Regretfully I did not purchase a copy of your CD "rooftops". I am trying to get a copy of your CD. You are such a great player of just about anything with strings. Look forward to seeing you again.
Can you help me obtain a copy of your CD ?
