2008	Larry served as Musical Director and contributed to the music for a 13 part PBS children's series that started in September called Lomax: The Hound of Music. The series featured a good-natured, melody-obsessed puppet pooch named Lomax, his fluffy feline sidekick Delta, and their human companion, Amy, on a tune-filled train ride crisscrossing the musical landscape of America. With the help - and full participation - of real kids on the train, on location, and the viewers at home, Lomax and his friends doggedly pursued their mutual passion: tracking down the wonderful songs that form the heart of our nation's diverse musical heritage. As Lomax the dog tracks down the folk songs of America (much like his namesake, legendary musicologist Alan Lomax), he and his friends also discovered that America is a land of fascinatingly diverse places and people. The series was designed to increase the musical intelligence of children ages 3 - 7.

2010	Larry and Teresa Williams appeared on The Rob McNurlin Ranch Party, an authentic, western, folk, hillbilly and gospel music series reminiscent of the Porter Wagoner Show, the Flatt and Scruggs show and other country music series from the 50's and 60's. Each show featured a nationally known recording artist, as well as a sacred number. The show began airing on April 3rd to nearly 600,000 households in Kentucky, southern Ohio and West Virginia.
2012	On May 3, 2012, Larry, Teresa Williams, Kris Kristofferson, Shawn Mullins and others performed "Toast To Freedom", a song which Larry co-wrote and co-produced for Amnesty International, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Larry was in the house band, and at the end of the performance, Larry, Jim Lauderdale, Sam Bush, Emmylou Harris, John Hiatt, Teresa Williams, Bonnie Raitt, Richard Thompson, Amy Helm, Alabama Shakes, Brittany Howard and others participated in a sing-along version of "The Weight".

The show took place on September 13, 2013, at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Larry was the band leader for the house band. He also joined Jim Lauderdale on vocals on "Tulsa Time", a salute to the late Don Williams.
