Been awhile...hope all is great. Sure seemed so last month when i caught you and Teresa with Phil Lesh at The Capitol.....really nice to hear what your two's influence does with song selection and depth/variety for the band. Your wife was really good that Saturday night with a Mountains of the Moon and a Cosmic Charley. Wanted you to know i dropped off my first solo recording (and first tracks to see the light of day since 1988) with Walt at The barn.....i got to work with Gawain Mathews (your distant brother from another mother) Joe Bagale and Sikiru Adepoju (all from Mickey Hart's band the last few years)...what a thrill.......there is one tune on their....my little tribute to Levon and The Rambles. I hope you get to hear it.....i left you a copy. Good luck with all your projects, Larry. Pretty cool you produces the Crowes....right on.

First the sweet mandolin, then some really fine telecaster slide guitar on "How Can A Poor Man Stand Such Times And Live", with awesome vocals; as a fan, a student and a player of acoustic song and music for 45 years, you had me up singing and dancing on the balcony! Then you show up with duo fiddles with Jay Ungar! The performance at Soundout, the Pete Seeger tribute in Woodstock on 5/3/14 was a holy communion for me. I will be watching for you in my hometown Atlanta. Maybe a trip to Fur Peace is in order.
