Comments: Larry,
I was stunned and saddened when I stumbled across Bill's obituary earlier this week. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a generous soul with a kind heart who had a way of making others lighten up and smile.
I used to live in Greensboro and I played drums with Bill between '97-'99 informally and met you and Teresa once at his home. I am so glad to hear you guys are singing together these days. I'd love to catch you live if you ever tour in NC.
I wish you and Teresa well.

Comments: Larry,
Bob's band hasn't been the same since you left. Please, please, please come back and rejoin the never ending tour. Charlie came back and now we need you to come back. I need to hear your ass kicking guitar again on songs like Highway 61, Honest With Me, Watchtower, Summer Days...Please Larry.

Comments: Someone already asked you to please keep the music flowing! In what I guess was his last interview, it was so apparent that Levon loved you all so much and knew you had his back through his illness....please keep playing and I will keep listening and buying! He gave you sooo much of the musical credit....use it! Please keep it coming! Susannah Black

Comments: Larry, I met you at the Somerville theater with David. I had the fancy fiddle with me. Did you know I have a second shop in Poughkeepsie? Hope you will keep in touch; I'm in Poughkeepsie regularly and it would be great to talk to you again. Best Regards, Matt Stamell Stamell Stringed Instruments

Comments: I have been lucky enough to make several Rambles the last few years. What a special time. Thank you all so very much. Keep 'em up, Larry. We will be there! And so will Levon...

Comments: I was simply blown away by the live version of 'Chest Fever' I viewed on YouTube from a 2009 performance. That particular song is my personal Band favorite , and Mr. Campbell is a true virtuoso , and is truly a guitar players' guitarist , besides being a tremendous multi-instrumentalist. After I read his bio , discography , etc. , I realized that I have been a fan of his for decades , although I was unaware of his identity. I am now aware.

Comments: Larry & Teresa
Rick DANKO, grew up the road from where we live & we have been down to the Woodstock Cemetery to vist him on several occasion. It is tough time, but more so when you see Rick's son buried on the right side of his grave.
I met Levon when I met him at the Summer Garden's in Port Dover, when he played with Ronnie HAWKINS, and I played in a warm up band from Brantford. Great talent in Levon - "Keep your lamp trimmed and a burning". Rest in Peace - you earned it.
Wayne ELLIOT Simcoe, Ontario
Now the question is: Are all the musician's, Ramble staff out of work? Will the Levon Helm Studio remain open with the store? What is in the future?????????????????

Comments: I just read your eulogy to Levon. Thank you...playing with joy, the way that Levon, you and the whole band showed us, that's it. You can bet I'll be thinking about that joy on my gig tonight. Yea, I'm an old drummer, but every time I saw Levon play, I got a drum lesson.
Thanks for all your great work. Vince

Comments: I've been a long time fan of Levon Helm and was sorry to hear that he passed on. A friend sent me links to the Levon Helm Band performances. I've been listening to them this morning. I loved Anna Lee especially. I'll stay a fan of his, and all of you, too. Thanks.

Comments: Larry, this is a very sad time, but please, please, please, find a way to keep the band together. This is your time to take the lead. I am sure Levon wanted the band to play on.
