Due to an accident, Larry lost his mother, Maggie Campbell, on April 9th, 2010. A memorial was held for her on May 21st
at Trinity Church in New York City. Maggie was a passionate enthusiast and supporter of live music. In
her memory, many artists participated in the memorial, including Larry, Teresa Williams, Soozie Tyrell,
Elaine Caswell, Lisa Lowell, Patti Scialfa, Lincoln Schleifer, Amy and Levon Helm, Happy Traum, John Sebastian, Phil Lesh, Rosanne Cash, John Leventhal,
Brian Mitchell, Howard Johnson, Erik Lawrence, Steven Bernstein,
and Clark Gayton. Both Don Imus and Bruce Springsteen were in attendance.
Due to a five year battle with colon cancer, Larry also lost his brother, Bill Campbell, on March 5, 2010. |
